Alex Wilhelm is a writer. His work covers politics, technology, media, and religion.

Alex currently writes full time for The Next Web, where he serves as its Deputy Managing Editor. At the same time, but not for money, Alex has contributed on the matters of religion and politics for the HuffingtonPostSecularNewsDaily, and PoliticusUSA. He's been on TV a few times to talk about this or that, and appears on podcasts, and recently, the BBC. 

Alex is a heavy metal enthsiast, a sucker for a bottle of Single Malt, and can usually be found in Chicago or the Bay Area.

Alex is currently infatuated with the sea changes taking place in the world of media.
